Actions speak louder than words and I have been taking classes with Catrine at Cat's Corner for over two years and try to arrange my schedule to miss as few classes as possible. I like the setting -- a Mission street jazz club with old posters and movie clips of swing dancing on the TV's and good bands and dancing after the classes -- but most important for me has been the instruction that I have received. Catrine Ljunggren, aka “Cat”, is a dance teacher, performer and choreographer specializing in Swing & Lindy Hop, Tap, Jazz, and Argentine Tango.

Catrine teaches at dance camps and workshops around the world as well as group classes and private lessons in her hometown of San Francisco.

Private classes

A private class is a very good tool to learn a dance form. You have one on one time with the teacher, you save time and you decide the tempo of the class. People come to me of different reasons but here are some examples.
- you are getting married and need to learn a few steps fast
- you are taking group classes but want to check in with your teacher that you are on the right track
- you don’t like big classes
-you can’t commit to one class and want to have a flexible schedule
